New 2011 Flat Rock Ranch Map w/ Trail Markers:

    (Click map to download)FFR Map

The map shows yellow and black sequential numbers placed on direction signs with
red arrows at intersections. This will allow new riders to know where they
are if they print a map from the web site and take it with them on the ride. The new
map will also let regular riders plan different combinations of trail than they normally ride.

We've already had one rescue from riders caught after dark where they called in
referencing the numbers. We found them in short time. Some green signs may have
10s and 12s denoting kids age groups during our cross country race.

New Stuff at Flat Rock Ranch: 01-01-08

We now have hot water showers.  We also have some trailer hook ups with water and 30 amp plug ins.  Please call for hook up availability.

The creek is not running but the views are still spectacular.  The single track is need of riders, come on out and enjoy the ride!  Just lay down $6, sign the bike ranch liability waiver, and ride.  Please ask about our annual passes and camping.

Check out the new section of trail on the upper loop.   This new trail is a major re-route of the big climb up Mt. Park.  It adds good views of the Flat Rock Creek Canyon watershed North and South.  The paydirt group did some major bench cutting in what is now the buck eye canyon trail.  We did leave in a short part of the climb to the top over the exposed rock.  With this re-route our upper loop, starting in the creek area, is now 10 miles long.  We now have a continuous 25 mile point to point loop.  If you're used to multi lap race venues, you can rest assured that once you cross those difficult sections, on our course, you don't have to do it again.
